cyeaman SUBS 8th Jul 2024		Don Rayno wrote two volumes on Paul Whiteman, totaling nearly 2000 pages. It's the most comprehensive bio-discography of Whiteman I've seen, and lists both recording and release dates for nearly all of the recordings he and his affiliates made. These are presumably from original company files, though I'll need to consult his sources to be more precise than that. This particular release is documented in the first volume, "Paul Whiteman: Pioneer in American Music, 1890-1930" (Scarecrow Press, 2003).
