The runout numbers represent the catalog number of the original Pathé Actuelle release.

 The numbers in the wax (as seen on the second set of illustrations) are not mx numbers. They are the catalogue numbers of the "parent" Pathe Actuelle discs from which these Perfect issues were drawn. Moreover, although the one number does look like the initial "3" is at least partially missing, you will see that both numbers are otherwise the same until the side designations (A and B). A person may be excused for reading the second to last digit as either a 1 or 7, but they are the same either way, and Rust's American Dance Band Discography indicates they are "1"s.

Rust indicates these two titles were recorded in New York in March, 1927. The mx number for "South Wind' was 107446-A. For "Dreaming Dreams" it was 107445-A. The A's in these instances are take numbers.
