In April 1953 Bovema got the rights for Capitol records and started to press their own 78's in Heemstede. Before that, Capitol releases were imported to Holland as Telefunken pressings from Germany. This type of label with the stripes was only used in 1953 and maybe early 1954. The license was a great success. “Vaya Con Dios” sold 85,000 units in 1953.
