| | It appears to me that the wrong label was selected, which is not an uncommon error and I have edited it to Dot. Thanks to all that found the mistake and supplied information and the label images. |

| | Dot(C) 15533 - Labels of Canadian Dot edition added. I think this is the record that is described here, but erroneously got the wrong label name Dominion(Canada). The details mentioned in the Notes are on the labels. |

| | If you'll please go to the link in my first post, you can see it on Quality, and much of this confusion can be cleared up. At some point between 15553 and 15537, the business deal was made to stop issuing Dot records on Quality and putting them on the Dot label in Canada.
Dominion was a mom-and-pop operation that didn't have the kind of money to license hit records from the States. They recorded generally unknown artists doing square dances and polkas. We don't have any examples on the site of any of their pressings after 1951. |

| | Dot(C) 15533, 15537 exist as maroon 45s. You have added maroon 78 Dot(C) 15538 Dell-Vikings. And Dot(C) 15533 maroon is on discogs . I guess this is the label intended here, released at the same time as the maroon 45. |

| | No, at that time, Dot records were being issued in Canada on Quality. This one was Quality 1587. |

| | Apparently a typo for Dot when adding the label name to the description. Was it on Canadian Dot? |

| | We do know that it exists here on the Dot label on 45 RPM

| | I haven't come up with anything that shows that this exists either. This is why we encourage our members to add label images of their records for verification. |

| | Are you absolutely sure that this record was released in Canada on the Dominion label? Its Dot catalogue number was 15553, and its matrix numbers were MB-9452 and 9453.
It was released in Canada on Quality 1587 with the same Dot matrix numbers, and "By Arr. Dot Records" text. See it here at discogs.
I'm dubious about its existence on Dominion. There aren't any images of such a record or any references to it besides this one on the whole internet. |
