 All label variants of the 45 RPM release show "Mardi Gras Mambo" as 7780 and "Your Time's Up" as 7781. The runout of my copy (1975 pressing) agrees with the label, so apparently it's the 78 label that's in error.

The March 5, 1955 issue of Billboard listed "Mardi Gras Mambo" as the third-best selling R&B record in New Orleans for the survey week ending February 23 (the day after Fat Tuesday that year).

 A Chess list in Blues Research #9 had the matrix for "Mardi Gras Mambo" as 7780 and for "Your Time's Up" as 7781. The label shown would suggest that the matrixes in BR9 were reversed from what they should be, or else the label is incorrect and the matrixes in the wax are as reported in BR9. In either case it ought to be noted to avoid the misinformation being relied upon by future researchers. maybe someone who has the record can help us out.
