 These Chess 78 labels are great are they not? I agree with Mickey about the cd of Bobby's Chess stuff. I have all Bobby's Chess 45s, all well played, and all still have better sound than the cd.

 Possibly my favourite Bobby Charles record from his early days. I had both tracks on a Japanese LP which wasn't bad, also compressed versions on CD which were piss weak, but also had a Chess 45 which was gutsy and got a lot of plays at my house. I can only imagine how good this 78 is because 78s were usually the best medium for '50s rock & roll IMO, with the rhythm section usually coming through much louder than on later formats.
