This record was accompanied by a movie with the same name, Beware, released on July 3, 1946 according to Wikipedia. In the Billboard review of the record on April 27, 1946, however, it is mentioned that the "all-Negro film called Beware featuring Jordan and the tune ... is currently getting distribution in Southern houses", so it was actually premiered some months before the Wikipedia date. Although a predicted #1 R&B ("put it down as number one race record right now"), the song "Beware" only made it to #2 on the Billboard "race" charts.

The complete movie, 55 minutes long, is now on YouTube:

I have also uploaded a photo of Louis Jordan And His Tympany Five from the movie, showing Louis Jordan on alto sax near doorway, and band members (from left to right) Joshua W. "Josh" Jackson (tenor sax), William "Wild Bill" Davis (piano), Jesse "Po" Simpkins (bass), Eddie Byrd (drums), Aaron Izenhall (trumpet), and Carl Hogan (guitar), actually a Tympany Six.
