LaurenceD SUBS 26th Feb 2020		According to the Aug 7 Billboard ad, the a-side features Jo Stafford and The Pied Pipers (not credited on label). There is a story concerning the Hollywood Hillbillies track. It seems that Victor recorded their version of "Tim-Tayshun" (along with Chattanooga Choo Choo) to compete with the popular Red Ingle recording on Capitol 412. Catalog number 20-2336 was assigned and promo copies were sent to DJs on June 12, 1947. Within one day, Capitol contacted Victor with a strong warning, and the release was pulled. So apparently, promotional copies of that release did exist, although I have yet to see one. I'm guessing that the b-side on this release is the same recording as that on 20-2336. Incidentally on the runout of this b-side, it looks like two of the digits were scratched out, e.g. "20-23▓▓B" and overwritten with "55".
