 To expand upon what mojofilter said in 2013, these Quality Francais series discs must not have gotten much circulation. Possibly Toronto wasn't a sufficiently French part of Canada, but I have yet to encounter one of these on Ebay either, and I've been watching it for years.

Were these records original to the Quality label, as opposed to the reissues of American products that made up their biggest lines? If so the attempt to foster a market for homegrown talent may have proven more difficult (and less financially rewarding) than they expected. It must have been much easier, by comparison, to sell somebody else's successful products.

 It's quite a surprise for me to see this. I lived in Southern Ontario for 38 years and hung out in places where you were likely to find 78s, and I've never seen one like this, or known that Quality had a French language series with a different-colored label. Very cool!
