 According to the Book "How RCA brought Elvis to Europe" by Pål Granlund [published 2016 by Follow That Dream Records], Canada was the earliest country outside USA to release Elvis records.RCA Victor in Montreal was closely connected to its US parent company, and generally released all US RCA records. The Canadian 78-rpm "I Forgot To Remember To Forget" [47-6357] probably hit the market in December 1955.

Records were manufactured at RCA's Canadian pressing plant in Smith Falls, Ontario. 78-rpm pressings came with black labels, 45-singles with blue labels.
