 Dick Robertson, who was far afield from anything remotely country, did "You're a Sap, Mister Jap" during the height of WW2. That would never get past the PC police today!

 At the time of this release,there was a rush to issue this type of material,the vogue being engendered by the Cold War / Berlin Airlift etc.There's actually a whole spate of this type of stuff,many in Country.However,the hits did not materialise in the way the companies thought they would;even ol' Hank(as Luke)with Fred's skilled help,managed to flop with his excellent effort......and the CW dragged on for another 4 decades ho hum.

It's hard to believe what kind of lyrics were issued back then.
