| | Here's an artist I wasn't familiar with. A solid, pleasant singing voice that should have led to a bigger career. Maybe his voice was too good for the typical C&W fan of the era, no twang. Maybe he should have tried to break out of the western mold and gone mainstream pop. The band behind him is good on both tracks. I could have done without the group vocal on Dime A Dozen, but a lot of people were doing that back then.Thanks, BigBadBluesMan. I enjoyed these tracks. |
