Rust had a lot of blind spots besides the little (little - ha!) matter of errors. Among them, not going past 31 July 1942 on US recording dates and 1945 on UK dates. I should know, I wrote and published a singles discography of Columbia Records (US) covering the years 1939 to 1974. I had a time figuring out recording dates of key singles past 1942.

How, for example, would he have designated electric bass - elb? (We know he used 'sb' for string bass.)

No, Rust is not infallible, and you will never hear me say that. My notes are replete with incorrect issue numbers, missing issues, etc. I doubt that any of his major projects (and there were a lot of those) had the advantage of editors who were fully qualified to proof his manuscripts for errors, or, if they were that qualified, had the funding to allow them to properly do that job. Without the right kind of backup, any project of the scale of most of Rust's books will have errors. I estimate the frequency of such errors in Rust's books to be about one material error in every five pages. And that's just in the record lists. You can get into serious debates about what is fact and what is supposition about personnel in Rust's work, as well.

Lest we seem to be unfairly beating up on Rust, I should warn you that the Warner book (which I own and keep handy) is no more infallible than Rust. Warner's historical material is probably among the best-researched in print, but his discographical charts are, like Rust, riddled with errors. Again, publishers who are willing to spend money on properly proofing this kind of material are few and far between. The average book editor wouldn't begin to know how to do it, so they don't.

Although the B-side track is listed in Rust's Complete Entertainment Discography, this issue of it is not.
