slholzer 24th Aug 2016		Diva recordings were Columbia products made for distribution through the W.T. Grant store chain. The recordings sold on Diva were generally the same as appeared on Velvet Tone and Harmony, sometimes with the names changed, sometimes not. For most of the three labels' runs they were in lockstep, the Velvet Tone issue being numbered 1000 above the Harmony and Diva being numbered 2000 above the Harmony. Harmony and Velvet Tone broke the lockstep at Harmony 1273-H. Diva was still with them at 1207-H (i.e. Diva 3207-G) but may have gone completely by the wayside before the other two broke company. For the most part, Harmony and Velvet Tone continued to issue the same records after the break, but the numbering system was no longer linked.
