 Concerning the video of Kalamazoo: You've got to hand it to the Yanks, they're absolutely peerless at this kind of thing. An atmosphere of charm and optimism pervades every second of this glorious item.O. K., the song's silly, but that doesn't detract from the inherent message of happiness and joy.

 Concerning At Last: the most interesting popular singers are those who have the ability to make a happy song sound sad (and a sad song even sadder). Roy Eberle doesn't quite make it, but he has the right idea. Perhaps the principle exponent of this art was Connie Francis.
