Co(Co) 31134 - Here is a Colombian Tropical 78 on discogs, but the country is incorrectly listed as US. Several other 78s are shown under Tropical(Co), between 45s & LPs.

Co(Co) 31134 - As stated along the label rim, the record was "Made in Colombia by Ind. Fon." and this is explained on the sleeve: "Fabricated & distributed in Colombia by "Tropical" Records", which was an important Columbian record label of company Ind.Fon. - 'Tropical(Co)' 78s are not here on this site, but discogs says: "Colombian label established in the 1940s. Was owned by (Industrias Fonograficas) Discos Tropical from Barranquilla, founded by Emilio Fortou Pereira in 1945. This company was also the CBS licensee in Colombia." Apparently in the 50s the contacts were with Mexican Columbia. - It appears that I have 1 label image in this Co(Co) series, 31135 "Soy un extaño" (prob. misspelling) by Ricardo Yarke. Also white label, but this is no problem I think, as the Argentine Co C-20000 series started with blue label issues, and then was white with blue print until the end in the 21000s (for ex., 20545 by Doris Day).

 Thanks Mike.
I've got several more records from the same person, and all the others are from Colombia, so this is probably the same.

I've changed the country of origin, per what is on the label and the insert that you've added. These two songs may have been coupled in that country only.

Most of the Mex labels are red.Yes.
But I can't find the combination of the two tracks anywhere.
They are released as side A on separate releases.
Can you have a look at the cover image, and tell me if the cover was made in columbia?
My Spanish is close to zero
The city Baranquilla exsists in several countries in South America

I'm pretty certain. There may be red label commercial copies that exist, but we usually don't mark these Columbia white label copies as "promo only". If someone else knows more about it, I will admit that I am wrong.
