 Saddled The Cow (And Milked The Horse) has a vocal, although the label makes no mention of it. The title is actually a quote of the first line of the song. It implies a light-hearted and presumably clever tale about how mixed up the singer is. After the first line, however, you never hear it again or anything else similar to it. The rest of the track is a run-of-the-mill blues. If you like Roscoe Gordon, you'll probably like it anyway. If you're expecting something along the lines of a better country/western song or perhaps hip jazz a la Slim Gaillard and Slam Stewart, you'll probably be disappointed.
