 In order to avoid any confusion related to A2 found on this issue, the label has suffered damage in the area between the title of A3 and the composer attribution line of A2, resulting in the tearing away of the full last name of Richard A. Whiting (father of vocalist Margaret Whiting).

 The New Friends Of Rhythm was a septet of fellow musicians led and brought together by Alan Shulman, all of whom also played with Arturo Toscanini and The NBC Symphony Orchestra. More information on Shulman may be found here
