 RCA and Columbia should hardly count. They weren't specialty labels. I still give Dana the nod for being best.

 The Dana label continued well into the 1960s, even though Walt Dana sold his interest in the label in 1950. At one point it was 3rd most successful polka label in the USA.

Dana had at least 2 hillbilly releases, the second also being by Bob Harter. Dana 4002

 I have seen a lot of Dana's records made for the Polish-American community right after WW II. This is the first entry in the C&W series I have seen. I suspect it must closely approximate Dana's disappearance from the music scene. You might read this two ways: either they failed to stick with what they knew and went bust, or they failed in an effort to expand their markets and went bust. Just as likely, their chief go-getter in the form of one Walt Dana, just got tired of the whole thing and moved on to something else that paid better or demanded his attention. In any event, I would be curious how many more C&W issues there were.

 This record was a start to Dana's Hillbilly (4000) series, as Dana primarily released polkas.
