Jock_Girl 9th Jan 2021		@Matthew Rose: While it is possible that this was also on 78 in the USA, it is improbable as by 1958 78s on most major labels were reserved for the biggest selling artists and records on only pressed after the 45 had shown good proven sales potential. As Cliff was a new artist at the time and the 45 didn't really sell all that well, not even cracking the Hot 100, the effort was not needed. Canada was far less picky about pressing 78s well into 1959



Matthew Rose 25th Dec 2020		Could this 78 have been released in the US as well? The reason I ask is because Capitol was still pressing 78s for certain artists such as Peggy Lee and Nat King Cole into the fall of 1958.
