cyeaman SUBS 20th Jun 2024		Recorded between rehearsals and performances with Paul Whiteman's orchestra for his show "Say It With Music" at New York's Paramount Theater. "Borneo" contains the famous "chase" chorus played by Bix and Tram, considered by many to be an innovation the two of them introduced into the jazz idiom. They both sound in top form at this session. Great record, despite the fact that OKeh reported sales of only a paltry 3000 copies.
