Notes The Jungle Band, a pseudonym on Brunswick 4450 for Chick Webb and his Orchestra. (Note: this pseudonym was also used on Brunswick for recordings by the Duke Ellington Orchestra, and on 4936 for Cab Calloway and his Orchestra). A-matrix E-30039 recorded June 14, 1929 in New York, N.Y. B-matrix E-30091 recorded June 27, 1929 in New York, N.Y. At the time matrices were not shown on the record. Instead, the catalogue/release number was used. The A-side has a scat vocal by Ward Pinkett (trumpet) and was also issued on the B-side of English Brunswick 1235/01235.
