At the earliest, 1947, though looking at the fonts for {Images #1824308 & 1824309}, I'd venture the plum-label pressing to be 1949. Probably vinyl, but I'm not sure. Very likely. I know the equivalent 45 would have been in the 41-6000 series.

Hi W.B.lbl. Thanks for the info.

Any idea when this would've been released and would the "red" version be vinyl also? Thanks.

These educational 78's appeared to be pressed well into the mid-1960's. Someone on some site put up a label with the rim print same as on post-1959 LP's and 45's (i.e. "TMK(s)" and the elimination Camden, N.J. therefrom) - and Nipper looking exactly as on 1965-68 LP's and 45's in terms of huge emphasis on red and blue.

Uploaded scans of presumably a later pressing. Record is vinyl and does play from track to track as a normal LP would. No indication that it is a 78 until you play it at 33.

This record does not play through. You have to move the needle manually for each track.
