 This was one of the first singles by Bill Doggett who would be responsible for King Records' most successful record ever, "Honky Tonk", which sold four million copies, reaching #1 R&B and #2 pop in 1956. "Moondust", an instrumental as well, was only a modest seller but became a regional hit in Philadelphia at least.
