Actually, a copy of SC-1 is viewable under Eclipse Nursery Rhymes on this website. The version shown there was eventually replaced with a blue label such as those referred to here. The series ran separately from the other Eclipse series, although its numbers were in the same range with an SC prefix. It was not dedicated to serious music. After starting with nursery rhymes, it branched out to sacred music, comic songs, military bands, and, yes, some light classics. It might even conceivably have been two series, as I've never seen any numbers between SC61 and SC105, or between SC105 and SC157, which is the highest I''ve seen.

"There was also a blue-labelled SC-1 series for more serious music."

Indeed, I have just added one: SC 33.

By a strange coincidence I have just spotted one of the SC ones on ebay:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/St-James-Church-London-The-First-Nowell-8-78-ECLIPSE-SC22-/360592795309?pt=UK_Records&hash=item53f50166ad

This is one of several eclipse records I have added to 78worlds.
They used to belong to my mother. One other she had which I stupidly sold years ago had the songs: 'There's a Song in Every Bottle' and 'What Should You Give a Nudist for her Birthday'. I have recollections that there was also one with a blue label.
