 This record dates from 1950 but this label is not the same label that was owned by Bob Shad of Sittin' In With Records. It was also pressed on 45 RPM and seems to be a popular item on the U. K. Northern Soul Scene.

 I am inclined to think that this is a separate Jade label. All of the Jade labels I have except this one have the same abstract figure for a logo with a musical note on one side and a clef on the other. All of them are blue except this one. This is the only one I've seen in the 500 number range. Some (but certainly not all) of the blue Jades have a line to the effect of Mfg by Jade Record Co, NYC. This one doesn't.

I don't know anything about the artist either, so I can't say if it fits in the Jade catalog or not. Given its number, it might be starting a whole new series and may not match anything else in the catalog in any event.

 Could not find any information about this artist. This might be the Jade label affiliated with Sittin' In With (which would place it around 1950), but I'm not sure.
