Edison began listing artists' names on labels in April or May of 1915, which was close to the coupling date of this record. It is interesting that Elizabeth Spencer is so credited, but not Albert Farrington. I wonder whether labels were prepared during this transition, or if the A side label was made at a later date. The example shown in images I added has the code "A8" at the 6 o'clock position of the B side, indicating that it was manufactured in August 1916. It is possible that first pressings did not show Spencer's name on the A side, and new labels were made after old metal parts were worn out.
