 Buddy Lucas' Band Of Tomorrow sounds like a guitar, an organ and (I assume) his own sax. I would like to have heard the flip side. I think Undecided would give us lingering swing-fans a better point of reference than Diane, which was already getting some age on it in the late 30s. I can't imagine that his musicians would have given him such lackluster support on it. If nothing else, Charlie Shavers wrote a listenable and playable melody, as a good jazz musician should.

I appreciate the opportunity to hear this, BigBadBluesMan. i doubt that I would have come across it readily otherwise.
