 Everybody was mambo-crazy in the 1950's. Some pretty awful mambo adaptations came out before they all started doing twist adaptations in the early 1960s. Nevertheless, good mambo music was exciting. The combination of T-Bone Walker's stellar guitar and a mambo-flavored arrangement on Strollin'; With Bones is a good reminder of what was best about those times musically.
