 Katinka by Henry Tobias and Ben Russell was a fairly successful tune in its time, but its success is sometimes covered up by the larger success of the Rudolf Friml-Otto Harbach show of the same name which pre-dated it by 11 or so years. Search engines weren't finding anything about it until I gave them Tobias' name to steer them away from Friml et. al.

A video clip like the one for :Katinka" would have gotten you serious repercussions from the McCarthyists in 1951, Bob1951. I'm glad we're all over that. (Oh, wait ...)

Nice trumpet solo on Blue Room. Wonder who it was? Rust offers three possibility: Hymie Farberman, Leo McConville and Mike Mosiello, but Rich used a lot of good men.
