slholzer 15th Aug 2017		Allen Sutton's Pseudonyms on American Records 1892-1942 indicates that George Beaver is generally a pseudonym for Irving Kaufman, although there are two known exceptions (non-Banner) when he was Arthur Fields. Rust and the ODP both attribute this Hollywood Dance Orchestra side to Billy James AHO. Allen Sutton agrees up to the point that the orchestra involved was generally issued under the name Billy James AHO. Sutton expresses the opinion, however, that Billy James was itself a pseudonym for a prolific, but as yet unidentified orchestra, most likely a house band. A list of mostly Oriole issues for which the true identity of the James band has been determined may be found in James entry in Sutton.
