Originally released on Edison brown wax cylinder in October, 1900. This release contains a re-recording of the monolog and was plated. September 18, 1901. This version is an "early edge" Edison Black Wax (Gold Moulded) cylinder, which does not have any information stamped into the cylinder rim. Instead, just the catalog number, Edison's signature and "PATENTED" are lightly engraved on the surface, following the last grooves. It likely dates to sometime between January, 1902 and August, 1904, when rim stamping began.
