I think I might've spotted one or two of these at Rices in Newcastle(Australia). Wild design, ay? Definitely psychedelic! Pity the music wouldn't match up.
Fantastic nostalgia: Dad would play us all these & more ( 'Open up them Pearly Gates') ! Parts of Abbey Road a bit later on. They would always be accompanied by steaming porridge with Golden Syrup ,on Saturdays ! Thanks Dad!
ps We now know where Damian Hirst pinched his 'Spin Paintings' from!!!!

Scratchy little records played on a scratchy little red plastic battery operated record player with a needle as demonstrated in my local department store.
At age 3 I quickly preferred proper 45s (and 78s) through a normal Garrard Deck record player (even if my record collection had Windmill in Old Amsterdam and Puff the Magic Dragon in it , they were good tunes)

Those discs were about 6⅝" in diameter, so if you placed in on a Dansette or Garrard autochanger, the needle would miss the beginning of the disc by about ⅛" to ¼"
