Notes

This single sided disc is made of a laminated material that actually resembles concrete. The lamination has cracked and chipped due to shrinkage. The paper label actually covers the entire B side

Further research shows that these are usually called 'concrete' Pathes and date to c.1905, but are usually 24 cm (~10 inch). In 1906 Pathe started making 27cm discs but these were shellac, so this disc seems to fit in between if its ~11 inch. The five dot pattern either side of the Pathe name is the Pathe trademark that was in use on their earlier cylinders. Nice one Amy!!

Cylinders were a much better idea. Constant play speed.

You might have more luck trying to play the sleeve...

Playing from the centre outwards means that you get the highest bandwidth towards the end of the record. As I recall, the thinking was that most records would build towards the finish - so they cut them in a way that suits that.

Many of the earlier Pathés play from the middle to the outside, so that often fools beginners. You can play them if you reverse one of the stereo channels, either by reversing the wires of one channel in the headshell, or doing it in an audio editor.
Pathé re-released a lot of Sterling (UK) cylinders as flat discs in late 1908, which caused a bit of a stink with many of the original performers.

Pathé seems to be the home of disks that are 'non-standard' in some way, and are for the most part unplayable by the average person. See 1503

What I like (apart from the very attractive label) is the note that it should be played at a speed of 90 to 100 rpm.

My research tells me that this was a reissue of a cylinder (with the same number), making it equally interesting in as much as the older technology has survived and is playable.

"Ce Disque Doit Etre Ecoute Avec Un Diaphragme" translates as "This disc should be listening with a diaphragm",if that's any help.

 Unusual --- and very unplayable.

Makes you ask: What were they thinking? -- Que pensaient-ils?

 Never seen anything like this.
Looks "unusual" :-)
