 The V. Hely-Hutchinson mentioned on 6 of the 7 tracks was appointed Director of Music for the BBC in 1944 and was both an Arranger and Conductor - as well as Composer and an accomplished pianist. However he died in 1947 so presumably his involvement was in the arrangement rather than the conducting although it is hard to tell in the Choral track whether they are singing "God Save The King" or "God Save The Queen". Gordon Jacob, who is mentioned in the Choral track title, is attributed to composing/arranging the Fanfare for the National Anthem for the Queen Elizabeth's Coronation in 1953 so it would suggest that these tracks were recorded around this time.
