Bob1951 11th Jun 2018		Agreed. The date entered was a typo. The recording date should be May 24, 1923, not May 4. [Typo has now been fixed and notes have been expanded per Brian Rust, The American Dance Band Discography, page 1565. Mod.]
slholzer 18th Oct 2017		Sutton and Rust agree that the Missouri Jazz Hounds are Joseph Samuels' orchestra on this disc. They disagree as to whether the Samuels' band is called the Melody Makers or The Melody Masters. Rust and the ODP give a recording date of c. May 24, 1923, as opposed to the May 4, 1923 shown above.
