 I can never understand how this was supposed to be 'humorous'. Sandy plays the part of a no-good drunk who goes drinking every night, leaving his poor, long-suffering wife at home alone. The sketch ends with his wife being shot dead by a burglar, and then he offers to take the burglar to go and shoot his mother-in-law. Perhaps that's was why it was one of his last Broadcast 78s?
