 Can I change my mind?
The AK set is auto-coupled - AK1584 has sides 1 and 6. If your K1584 has sides 1 and 2 then its normal coupling, so perhaps Decca just add an initial A to the series prefix to indicate auto-coupling. Edit - Just checked 1951 catalogue and initial A does mean auto-coupling.

The K series is a UK one. Perhaps the AK series is an export one, even though it's got a UK tax stamp? Alternatively it could indicate a French recording?

Did find reference To the particular Recordings, Being made in 1947.
Does K mean records not for UK Market?
