mickey rat 18th Jan 2013		To me this particular Bluebird label has one of the most satisfying designs ever. It's not quite art deco but it seems to me to capture the era very nicely.

McGhee (Victor 20858) 1927; Carolina Ramblers String Band (Perfect 12818) 1932; Dixie Reelers (Montgomery Ward 7099) 1936.; Wade Mainer & Zeke Morris (Bluebird 6596) 1936.

W.B.lbl 18th Jan 2013		I.I.N.M., the A side was the basis for the Billy Edd Wheeler composition "Reverend Mr. Black" which was a Top 10 hit for The Kingston Trio in 1963.
