 According to the Betty Driver discography I have, the a-side matrix number is OEA 15272-1, yet on the label it's shown as OEA.15253. The former number is on the b-side, so it was probably a mistake. The recording date listed is 16 December 1950. I wonder if it's significant that Betty was relegated to featured vocalist, after having been top-billed on all her previous records. "Red Silken Stockings" was the first studio recording by Alma Cogan, but her HMV version is said to have been shelved in favour of Betty's. At any rate, this was Betty's last studio recording for over three years, and her last for HMV.
