Originally released as The Ten Black Berries on (American) Banner and associated labels.

Both tracks recorded in New York by the American Record Company, January 29, 1930.
Matrix A1: 9321-3
Matrix B1: 9322-2.
Three takes of A1 and two of B1 were waxed and used for associated labels plus Cameo, Champion and Jewel.

 Much information can be found at Mike Thomas' superb site about British Vocalion records (mgthomas.co.uk). In there, he reveals that the 10" Vocalion Swing Series, S & C prefixed, began in 1936. The C's were a swing export series - although it remains unclear where they were destined, totalling 15 issues: C 0001 - C 0015.
