slholzer 8th Jun 2017		Every Colony discography I have seen so far appears to be ultimately sourced from Michel Ruppli's work in "The Aladdin/Imperial Labels". The tell-tale indicator is that all of them stop at C-112. This disc is clear evidence that what Ruppli found in the Imperial files was not full documentation of Imperial's output. Possibly as much as half of the Colony 78's issues are not listed. There were even bigger holes in other parts of Imperial's files. (That is no reflection on Ruppli. He did what he set out to do. The book tells us what there is to be found in the files. The incomplete nature of Imperial's files fore-ordained that additional research would be needed before full documentation of Imperial's activities could be achieved. I doubt if Ruppli's publisher would have been happy to have him tell us that while we considered paying the considerable price of his book.)
