 "Poor John" was renamed "The Poor People of Paris" for political reasons. However, I can't remember which Poor John's reputation was being protected.

 It would appear that the A side is one and the same as "The Poor People Of Paris" - as would be the subtitle on the 45 RPM pressings such as seen here.
