| Leedon 10th Feb 2015 | The font on the labels are different for a start. The shellac has a slightly wider lead in groove. I also knew one of the companies executives who basically confirmed that these were done in error. Later pressings on some of these had the Made In Australia removed. New Zealand only imported the black label Festival 78's prior to pressing locally in 1956. These yellow Corals were never imported and were pressed locally. Here is an example of an Australian pressing. https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/cs1149au Unfortunately this is the only Australian Coral example of this period uploaded to 45World 78rpm. However there are more examples under Australian Festival with the same font. https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/fs1232 It is hard to explain further without showing the shellac in the flesh as there are some noticeable differences in the pressing of the grooves. Have been collecting these for over 30 years so have a good knowledge of them. Unfortunately have been too busy with 45Cat to start loading them. | |

| Leedon 6th Feb 2015 | This is actually a New Zealand pressing. Even though it has Made In Australia on the label. This was left on in error by the manufacturer. It was made in New Zealand for the NZ market. Should be listed under NZ. Was uploaded from NZ. | |
