Per the Duophone listing on Mike Thomas' mgthomas.co.uk website, Harry Paul AHO is a pseudonym on Side A for Paul Specht's orchestra. Per the same source, The Wabash Dance Orchestra is a pseudonym for Red Nichols' Orch. You will not find Side B under Red Nichols' name in either of Rust's main books, but you will find it under the heading Wabash Dance Orchestra in both books, where Rust concurs that Nichols was the director of that organization.

Rust offers neither personnel nor a vocalist's name for the Specht band. He identifies the vocalist on Side B as Phil Baker. The personnel of the Wabash Dance Band suggests at least some "hot" potential, with Nichols,Miff Mole and Fud Livingston on hand, not to mention a rhythm section that includes Artie Schutt, Carl Kress and Chauncey Morehouse. The track's inclusion in the 6th Edition of Jazz Records is also a vote of confidence, of sorts.

Rust indicates both tracks were made in NY. Side A was recorded September 19, 1928. Side B was recorded September 14, 1928. In point of fact, all of the sides made under the Wabash Dance Orchestra name, and all of the sides made at the sessions which produced the Paul Specht side, appeared on Duophone and no where else known to Rust. It therefore appears to me that Duophone commissioned the sessions by these orchestras and did not merely pick them up under license from Brunswick as might otherwise be guessed from the mx numbers used.
