 Per Mike Thomas' mgthomas.co.uk website's Duophone list, Davy's Whsipering Orchestra is a pseudonym on side A for the Arrowhead Inn Orchestra with a vocal by Ed Smalle. Thomas shows side B as credited to Lanin's Syncopators, which in turn is shown as a pseudonym for Paul Specht's Orchestra. Rust's American Dance Band Discography follows Thomas' line as to side A but fails to list the B-side track under Specht. You will find the B-side under Lanin's Syncopators, where Rust admits to not knowing if it involves Howard or Sam Lanin or somebody else entirely. At least he is able to id the vocalist as Smith Ballew.

The A-side was recorded in new York, c. 28-Sep-1928. The B-side is New York, 5-Nov-1928..
