These are the arias Ombra mai fù from the opera Xerxes (Serse) by Handel, and Una furtiva lagrima from the opera L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love) by Gaetano Donizetti. Sung in Italian by tenor Beniamino Gigli, with orchestra conducted by John Barbirolli. Side A has organ accompaniment by Herbert Dawson. Note that the Library of Congress has no cross reference from the English title shown on Side B. It's often the case that these old translations of titles into English seem strange to contemporary ears.

Track titles on labels:

A: Ombra mai fù (Largo) (Xerxes)
B: Una furtiva lagrima (Down Her Cheek A Pearly Tear) L'elisir d'amore (Act 2)

Uniform titles (headings added to the data entry to unite all versions of a title regardless of spelling, language, etc. These are Library of Congress headings):

A: Handel, George Frideric, 1685-1759. Serse. Ombra mai fù
B: Donizetti, Gaetano, 1797-1848. Elisir d’amore. Furtiva lagrima

MusicBrainz uniform titles (these include Act and Cast data):

A: Serse, HWV 40: Atto I. Arioso "Ombra mai fù" (Serse)
B: L'elisir d'amore: Atto II. Romanza "Una furtiva lagrima" (Nemorino)
