Given the earlier cat numbers were 1953 one presumes the book is in error in dating as 1952 (see also DB 3308 that the book gives as 1952 too)

The Missing Hits Book 1940-52 has this same number record released in July 1952.
Presumably the Black and Gold version was issued in that year and the red white and blue version issued in 1953.
