scrough 21st Oct 2017		Issues throughout Columbia history are irregular, not only during the wartime periods. As a guide FB 2746 was issued Jan 1942, FB 2862 was Nov 1942. But even Columbia themselves seem to have lost documentation of releases in this period by the 1950s.



slholzer 21st Oct 2017		Information submitted with surrounding numbers suggests that this should be a 1942 release. It should be noted, however, that a wide range of numbers bear that date in this database, and that many of them are undoubtedly incorrect. Also, I am informed by people who know better than I that the issue history during the war years in Britain was decidedly irregular. Efforts to clean up that situation are being made, and the estimate of the release date may change accordingly, if, in fact, an estimate is still needed once all the relevant data has been put in place.
