Pridesale 25th Sep 2013		Sheet music cover added for Bow-Wow , from Wikipedia so I guess their commons copyright applies. The printed version includes the 'Gaiety Version Sung by Arthur Roberts' I don't know what difference in notation or lyrics is. Remember Folks, you probably wouldn't get all this information here in one place if it was not for 45worlds.com

Pridesale 24th Sep 2013		These items were displayed possibly as billed for the event. Regal (like others to come , and before ) , recorded stuff live and put it out on record ASAP. The tunes would have been known to the audience ( who indeed in typical fashion join in the choruses ) associated with the singer-songwriters , but as I think only excepts from each tune are included the 'huff' of the records' description in this case is fair ,rather than being a particular song explicitly noted as written by each person so attributed as being associated with the tune. I input originally side one wrongly , leaving to mod/admin as to if the 'title' in title field and correct composers separated with ; rather than, in composer field. Anyway Daisy, Daisy was written by Harry Dacre in 1892 , She Was One of The Early Birds by T. W. Conner, Daddy Wouldn't Buy me a Bow-Wow by Joseph Tabrar.in 1892. None of the writers get a credit on the record. On The B Side The Man That Broke The Bank.. and Down The Road were written by by Fred Gilbert(d 1903). It's A Great Big Shame Words by Edgar Bateman, Music by George LeBrunn. Correctly the Copyright stamp is for FDH as I think all titles were published through them. Gus Ellen Version of It's A Great Big Shame.

Both Labels now scanned "The Referee" I find was not a music hall or pub as I imagined , and I thought it would be difficult to search for on the internet with so many other references to sports match officials, but I find. " Looking casually, recently, at the back page of the " Referee," where entertainers generally set out their qualifications for the inspection of those on concert giving bent, the writer noticed an announcement in which the following words occurred : "Another record--ii shows in two nights with the aid of a trusty motor." Considering that the average turn takes from so to 15 minutes, this struck one as being sufficiently out of the way to merit investigation, and, accordingly, an early opportunity was taken to call upon Mr. Graham, the user of the car, at Brixton. Mr. Graham, who is known as the " human marionette," presents a show in which the use of some bulky stage paraphernalia is necessary. The popularity of his performance was the direct cause of the motor being utilised, for, as Mr. Graham's turn became more arid more widely known, he found himself in the position of having offers for three or four entertainments on the same evening, all of which he could have accepted but for the fact that it was physically impossible to transport himself and his stage backwards and forwards in the time between turns. Pridesale 4th Mar 2013		Recorded where ? Presumably London. Is Medley (Could be shown as tracks 1 2 3 on each side , with intro by the chairman between each song. Event was a money raiser for a family left destitute after the death of the head of the family ( Long time since I played it so cannot remember the details )
